Mr. Eye died of cancer Tuesday at McGuire Veterans' Hospital in Richmond.
He was born Feb. 5, 1898 near Franklin, W. Va. and was the son of the late Henry A. and Leah Bowers Eye.
He was a retired miller, a member of the Presbyterian Church and a veteran of World War I.
On April 16, 1923 he married the former Mabel Steele, who survives.
Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Lona Kee of Harrisonburg and Mrs. Loraine Haskins of Detroit, Mich.
Pallbearers will be Marvin S. Lam, Harold M. Early, John E. Funkhouser, Harry R. 7 Kaylor, Stanford P. Tutwiler and Raymond G. Miller Sr.
The body' is at Long Funeral Home where friends will receive friends 7:30-8:30 today.
Relatives will meet at the church 1:40 p.m. Friday.
