Daughter of John Hayes McMullen and Maria McGaha. Wife of Andrew Jackson Ragsdale. Loving mother of James T., Roberta, Mariah, and Lucy. A Grandmother remembered for making the best blackberry pie for her Grandson William.

Mrs. A.J. Ragsdale dies at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jack Adair, at Forrest City, Ark, March 2, 1911. She was a sister to Mrs. J.R. Russel and Mr. F.J. McMullen [of Huntsville, Alabama] and Mr. W.H. McMullen of Memphis Tenn and was seventy years of age.

Mrs. Ragsdale was a concentrated christian and her lovable character threw sunshine into the hearts of those about her, She was ever patient, gentle and full of christian love for her family, and those whom she came in contact.
