Jesse W. Caudill
Jesse W. Caudill, 75, died Saturday at St. Francis Hospital and Health Center in Beech Grove. He was a 29 year resident of Greenwood.
He was born Feb. 24, 1921, in Viper, Ky. His parents were Dee and Sally (Pratt) Caudill. He married Georgia Melton Feb. 9, 1946, in Whitesburg, Ky. She survives. Other survivors include three sons, Cletas "Sonny" Caudill of Green-
wood, Roger Caudill of Nineveh and Jerry Caudill of Indianapolis; three daughters, Sandra Mclntyre of Hazard, Ky., Wilma Murphy of Berwyn, Pa., and Glenna Ross of. Franklin; a sister, Allie Sizemore of Dupont; 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He also was preceded in death by six brothers; a sister; and a great-granddaughter.
He was employed by Arvin Industries in Franklin as an assemblyman and security guard for 16 years, retiring in 1979.
He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Cornettville, Ky. and Franklin VFW.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Jack Fleming will conduct a service at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Forest Lawn-Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Home in White River Township. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens
