Of 500 South Pine Street Lakemont died last evening at the Altoona Hospital after a few days of illness. She was born at Phillipsburg Dec 24,1911. A Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Washburn. Surviving are her husband Irvin W. Newkirk three children Robert, Charles and Patricia Ann Newkirk all at home. Also survived by two sisters Mrs James Hydner of Greencastle, and George Washburn of Detroit Michigan. She was a member of the Lakemont Methodist Church The body may be viewed at Mauk and Yates Funerial Home after 6:00 this evening.
