"Mrs. Vena W. Armstrong, wife of Mr. Henry C. Armstrong of Como, died at that place last Thursday and was buried on Saturday afternoon, Rev. B. F. Todd conducting the funeral service at the church. Mrs. Armstrong was in her 26th year and had been sick about two weeks with typhoid fever. Some little time previous to her illness, she had gone to Cripple Creek where her husband was sick with the same disease, and had nursed him back to health. Shortly after returning to Como, she took the fever, which proved fatal to her. Another sad feature of the case is that she left a two-year-old girl baby who is also suffering from the disease. Deceased had a large number of friends who sympathize with Mr. Armstrong in his bereavement."
