Mrs. Addie V. Coman, 904 S. Shawnee, died at 3:20 A.M. Saturday in St. Francis Hospital, Peoria, Ill. She was planning to return to Bartlesville when she became ill. Mrs. Coman was born May 21, 1875 in Patoka, Ill., where she was reared and received her education. On May 2, 1902 she was married to Thomas H. Coman at Sandoval, Ill. In 1905 they moved to Gas City, Kansas, and in 1910 they moved to Bartlesville. Mr. Coman died Dec. 23, 1915 in Bartlesville. Since 1944 Mrs. Coman has been spending her time with her daughter, Mrs. Marche Farrar at Peoria, Ill., and the son, R. C. Coman, Bartlesville. She was a member of the St. John's Altar Society; and the Woman's Benefit Assn.
She is survived by three daughters; Mrs. Marche Farrar, Peoria, Ill; Mrs. Leo Isaacs, St. Louis, Mo; and Miss Jo Ann Coman, Bartlesville; one son, R. C. Coman, 904 S. Shawnee, Bartlesville; a nephew, Joseph Coman, 115 E. 8th, Bartlesville; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A rosary will be recited in the Keeley-Neekamp Chapel at 7:30 Monday evening by the Rev. Philip Bryce. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St. John's Catholic Church at 9:30 Tuesday by Father Bryce, with interment following in Memorial Park Cemetery. Casket escorts will include Donald Lockard, B.F. Wiley, John L. Kyser, Ben Harned Jr., E.T. Witt and Howard Geisler.
