Anna "Annie" Maria Korb Kurtz Rinn, wife of Samuel Adam Rinn, was the daughter of Salome Hatzfeld [Hartzfeld] and first husband Heinrich "Henry" Walther Korb of Brady Township, Clearfield County, PA.
After her mother's divorce from Henry W. Korb and remarriage to Dr. George Kurtz of Young Township, Annie took the name of her step-father, who lived north of what later became the village of Walston.
Annie married the businessman Samuel A. Rinn on 11 September 1884 and became the mother of four daughters. She passed away 1 May 1926 in Punxsutawney.
