Mrs Isabelle J. Peebles, 89, of 650 E. Spruce St., died Thursday, Aug 19, at her residence. Mrs. Peebles was born 25 March 1921 in Petroleum Center, a daughter of the late Frank and Zema Seigworth Miller. She was married to Lyle W Peebles on 1 July 1940 in Mercer. Mrs Peebles was a graduate of the former Utica High School. She had been active in the operation of the former Lyle W. Peebles Motors in Titusville, as well as other businesses that they previously owned.
Mrs. Peebles is survived by the following children: Joan Warner and her husband Ronald; Carol Kling, Peggy Green, and Richard G Peebles and his wife Betty, all of Titusville; 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, a brother Robert Miller and his wife Ruth of Utica; a sister-in-law Mary Miller of Franklin; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Jeffrey Green; five brothers, Harry, Frank, William, Donald and James Miller; and a sister Margaret Welch.
