DANIEL DAVIS born , Chester County, Pennsylvania, February 11,1759, and died in 1838. He was a private under Captain John Henderson, Virginia Militia for fourteen months. He was stationed at Fort Randolph, Point Pleasant, where he mentions Captain Arbuckle, Colonel Dickinson, and Colonel Skillern, and at King's Fort and Tott's Fort. He lived in Wayne County, on Twelve Pole Creek, and was placed on the pension rolls from Cabell County in 1833. Supporting claims were made by Birwell Spurlock, John Samuels, and Jacob Kinnison.
