In all the adult years of his life he followed the profession of his father, that of a carpenter, until in late years he was forced to retire on account of ill health.
Besides his wife, son and daughter, he is survived by a one day-old grandson, John Richard Williams, the son of Mary Williams of Browning, MO. Also surviving is one sister, Mrs. N. J. Harty of Denver, CO; two brothers, John C. Riggen of Condon, OR, and Robert Riggen, address unknown.
Funeral services were held at the Schoene Funeral Home Wed, 28 Oct 1942, at 2:30 p.m., conducted by Rev. L. H. Maples, with song service by Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Smith, Mrs. Alec Shatto, Mrs. G. J.
