Poseyville News dated April 15, 1955: Mrs. Elizabeth Hein Stallings, 72, widow of Fred Stallings, died at 8 o'clock Saturday morning at her home in Stewartsville. She had been ill for several weeks. She was born south of Poseyville but had lived in Stewartsville since her marriage. She was the daughter of Jasper and Louisa Heckman Hein. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Stewartsville Methodist church with the pastor, the Rev. Carl Huston officiating. Burial was in the Stewartsville cemetery. Surviving are a son, James Earl Stallings, Robb township; a grandson and two great-great-grandchildren and two brothers, John and George Hein, RR2, Poseyville.
