The headstone has the year of 1909...(There is a discrepancy as to the yr. he was born the yrs. range from 1907-1910 BUT the earliest reference (1910 Census) & last reference (SSA rec.) indicate 1907 & using the marr. rec. to Ruth w/ them getting marr'd. in July 1960 & his DOB month being Sept. & his age given as being 52 in July then that would also indicate 1907 as the DOB yr. since he would have been 53 two months after the wedding.)
