Nathaniel Tanner McGilvra, son of Alexander & Alzina Tanner McGilvra. Married Laura Jane Wiley of Gentry Co., MO Dec 27, 1879. They had four Children; Leslie Grace (Woolworth), Lon Maude"Lulu"(Britton), Viva Belle(Clancey)and Nathaniel Jr. After his death his widow raised the four children and then remarried her step brother William Gano. (son of Laura Jane's mother's 2nd husband,Isaac D. Gano(Laura's father died while fighting in the Civil War of dysentery)

Gravesite Details

Toppled over, appears due to the large tree's root growing under headstone. On Sept 3, 2019, my 2nd visit to my Great Grandfather's grave, my sister, Connie and I cleaned the algae off . Now you can read his name and inscription. (new photo posted)
