Retha M. Kingsborough, 83, of 7765 Wertzville Road, Carlisle, died at 8:32 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2001, in Carlisle Hospital.
Born Dec. 8, 1917, she was daughter of the late Raymond and Verna Kessler Crites.
She was the widow of Norman E. Bowermaster, who died in 1971, and Raymond W. Kingsborough, who died in 2001.
A former employee of Knouse Foods, Peach Glen, Mrs. Kingsborough was a volunteer at the Salvation Army in Carlisle and a member of its Senior Action center.
She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn J. Vaughn; two brothers, Berlin Crites and Cleland Crites; two sisters, Elizabeth Russell and Susan Walker; a granddaughter, Alice C. Grimes; three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers.
Funeral services held in Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg, with the Rev. Donald L. Mason officiating. Burial in Rehobeth Cemetery, South Newton Township.
