Martin L Rodenberg, Aged Retired Farmer is Taken by Death
Cambridge City, Ind., Aug 1. - Martine Luther Rodenberg, 80 years old, well know retired farmer, died Wednesday at the home of his dauther, Mrs. Forrest Allen, at Pennville. Mr. Rodenberg, born in Abington, had resided his entire life in western Wayne County. He was a member of the Walnut Level I.O.O.F. Lodge and a member of the Persing Lutheran Church.
Mr. Rodenberg is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Allen; three sons, Harry L Green's Fork, Jesse, Centerville; Everett, Pershing; nine brothers and sisters, the Misses Barbara, Mary Margaret, Cora, Laura and Frances Rodenberg, John, William and Williard, all of the Abington community, and Bennett of Kansas.
Funeral services will be held at the Persing Lutheran Church Friday afternoon, the hour to be announced later. Rev. W. E. Allen and Rev. Roy Reece will officiate. Burial will be in Luther Cemetery.
