Rosa Baumbach Steinert, 87, 925 S. Central Ave., died early Tuesday morning in a Lodi hospital following a lengthy illness.
Born in Parkston, S.D., she grew up there and married Abraham Baumbach in 1906. The family moved to Lodi in 1908. Her husband died in 1945 and in 1948 she married David Steinert, who died in 1964.
She was a member of Central Seventh-day Adventist Church.
She is survived by a son, William Baumbach of Lodi; two grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Lodi Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lodi Memorial Cemetery in the family plot.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
