Clifford James Kramer

Clifford James Kramer, son of the late Harry Lloyd Kramer and Laura Elisa Anna Eggert Kramer, was born on April 26, 1930 in Florissant, Missouri and entered into rest on December 5, 2010 a the age of 80 years.

Clifford was united in marriage to Clora Jean Miller Kramer on May 9, 1952 in St. Louis, Missouri.

Clifford served in the U.S. Army from 1951 through 1953, spending 18 months in Korea. He returned home to Black Jack, Missouri to continue spending his life with his wife Clora. He returned to work as a driver for Fix Material Co. of Jennings, Missouri where he worked for 32 years. Clifford and Clora moved to Dellwood, Missouri where they lived until their retirement at the end of 1991 moving to St. James, Missouri where they enjoyed living.

Clifford is survived by his dear wife: Clora Kramer of St. James, Missouri; sister-in-law: Dorothy Keller Kramer, one nephew Keith Howard Kramer Sr. and his wife Gwen, one great nephew: Matthew Jacob Kramer, two great-great nephews and one great-great niece all of DeSoto, Missouri.

Preceding Clifford in death are his parents: Harry and Laura (Miller) Kramer; brother: Harry Lloyd Kramer, nephew: Keith Howard Kramer Jr.; step mother: Ethelene Mullins Kramer; and mother and father-in-laws: William and Mary Miller.

Clifford was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his surviving family, sister-in-law: Elsie Nova Miller Bowman and husband Carsten of O'Fallon, Missouri; niece: Kathleen Bowman Wynne of O'Fallon, Missouri and two daughters and one granddaughter Kristin Cento of St. Charles, Missouri and Katie and Sophie Wynne of Lake St. Louis, Missouri; niece: Donna Jean Bowman Lewis and her husband Mark and their daughter Julia Lewis of St. Peters, Missouri; nephew Timothy Edward Bowman and wife Tara Brown Bowman and their children: Nicole, Zachary, and Jared of Cottleville, Missouri, along with special other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many very dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 from 9 - 11 AM at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at 11 AM at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, Missouri with Mick Thrasher officiating. Pallbearers will be: Mark Lewis; Matthew Kramer; Glennon Whitner; A. C. Harris; Timothy Bowman and Willie Eickhorst. Interment will be in the family plot in the St. James Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
