Mother: Jemima Clement b: 04 SEP 1753 in Dracut, Mass.
∼Polly was the daughter of Moses Kimball (1747-1828) and Jemima Clement Kimball (1753-1846.) They were both born in Massachusetts, but were married on Oct. 16, 1771, in Hopkinton, Merrimack, New Hampshire. In 1801, they came to Ohio, settling in Warrenton, Jefferson, Ohio. Moses is buried in Warrenton Cemetery, but his wife, Jemima came to Brown County to live with their son, Charles and is buried in the Fitch's Chapel Cemetery near Ripley, Brown, Ohio. Polly married her third cousin, Benjamin Kimball, in Hopkinton, Merrimack, New Hampshire, on March 22, 1797. Benjamin was the son of Abraham Kimball of New Hampshire (1742-1828) and Phoebe Runnels Kimball of Massachusetts (1739-17??) Abraham and Phoebe were married in 1760 in Hopkinton, Merrimac, New Hampshire. Both Abraham and Moses were in the Battle of Concord. Polly and Benjamin had nine children, two dying in infancy. It is probable that Polly is buried in the Kimball Cemetery in Brown County, Ohio, since her husband was buried there in 1842, as is his second wife, Martha (1876-1855,) and her first husband Henry Zumalt (1771-1814.) Also Polly and Benjamin's daughter, Eleanor, was buried there in 1824 at the age of ten.
