Services for Mrs. Bonnie Tibbit, age 88 of Winnsboro, LA will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 14, 2010 in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro with Dr. Keith Dowden and Rev. Richard Henderson officiating. Interment will follow in Crowville Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Mrs. Tibbit was born April 5, 1922 and passed away October 11, 2010.
She was preceded in death by her husband; J. H. "Bill" Tibbit, Sr., son; Thomas W. Tibbit and grandson; Victor S. Odom.
She was a member of Taylor Bayou Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star. She loved her children and grandchildren very much.
Survivors include: Daughters: Vivian Meriweather and husband Michael. Gwendolyn T. Smith and husband Homer. Son: John H. Tibbit and wife Connie, 7 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers are: Sam Canady, Glen Williams, Lester Newton, Lynn Clement, Roy McDuffie, Shawn Allen and Eddie Ward
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday October 13, 2010 at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
Memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home.
