Born February 2, 1940, Dale was the second of eight children of Ellis and Florine Clark Armstrong.

He's been a wonderful son, brother, father, grandfather, and uncle to his family, which includes everyone who knew him. Following an LDS mission to the Southern States, he graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in civil engineering.

Dale married Janet Tyler on November 20, 1964 in the Idaho Falls Temple. Their children, Jeff, Barbara, Julie, and Gary, had an amazing Dad, teaching them to "do your best" and "remember who you are."

He is survived by his wife Janet Armstrong; daughters, Barbara Toomer (Jim) of Lyman, WY; Julie Hullinger (Shane) of Nashua, NH; sons, Jeffrey Armstrong (Rebecca) of Wesley Chapel, FL; and Gary Armstrong (Heather) of West Jordan; "Adopted" son, Raymond Falcon (Mary) of Huntington Beach, CA; fourteen grandchildren; sisters, Elaine Jannelli of Syracuse, NY and Diane Robinson of Barber-ville, WV; brother, David Armstrong (Betty Ann) of Lima, Peru.
