James Owen Anderson, 63, died Sept. 29 at Emanuel County Medical Center. The Evans County native lived in Bulloch County until moving to Swainsboro in 1971. He retired from Kaiser Ag Chemical and was owner of Southern Marketing and Management Company in Swainsboro.

SURVIVORS: his wife, Hazel M. Anderson of Swainsboro; two sisters, Brenda A. Lewis of Claxton and Zenda A. Hall of Ellabell; three brothers, Raybon Anderson of Statesboro, Kenny Anderson of Douglas and Bennie Anderson of Kannapolis, N.C.; two sisters-in-law, Sandra Hodges of Sylvania and Dorothretta Barrs of Reidsville.

FUNERAL: 3 p.m. today at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home, burial in Harville Baptist Church Cemetery.
