George Junior Harris, 57, Route 4, Greensburg, formerly of Campbellsville, son of Dencie Bray Harris and the late Tom Harris, was born in Nelson County on February 28, 1931. He died at 9:58 p.m., Sunday, September 11, 1988, at his home after a sudden illness. He was a member of the Union Band Baptist Church. He is survived by: his mother, Dencie Harris, Campbellsville; 2 sisters, Judy Richardson and Wanda Willis, both of Campbellsville; 1 nephew, Jamie Willis, Campbellsville; several other relatives and many friends. The funeral was at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by the Rev. Don Jahnke. Burial was at the Union Band Baptist Church. Pallbearers were Harrison Richardson, David Bray, Jerry Bray, Mickey Sapp, Mike Dudgeon and Robert E. Lee.
