He was born Aug. 31, 1948 in Bloomington, the son of Clarence Edward and Ada Marie Oesch Peasley. He was preceded in death by his father.

Peasley, Adair, Iowa; six brothers, David (Margene) Peasley, Kouts, Indiana; Lyle (Patty) Peasley, Stuart, Iowa; Louis (Julie) Peasley, Boulder, Colorado; Dan (Shirley) Peasley, Allerton, Iowa; Fred Peasley, Adair, Iowa and Steve Peasley, Lucas, Iowa and three sisters, Sharrie (Gene) Orendorff, Flanagan; Virginia (Ernie) Joy, Humeston, Iowa and Melody (Daniel) Neskas, St. Ann, Mo.
