Narcissus (Drivelbiss) Bigger was born November 30, 1865 and died December 20, 1893 at her home north of Kentland, leaving a baby a few days old. She was the daughter of Reuben an Amanda (Jones) Drivelbiss. She was married to John Bigger on March 1, 1891, and leaves her husband and two small children, her father, mother, two brothers and four sisters to mourn her loss; but they are not left to mourn without hope, for her life was such as to assure her victory in death.

She was a member of the U.B. Church at Mt. Zion for about seven years, which relation she adorned with a Godly life. During her last sickness she suffered intensely but was never heard to murmur nor complain. Thus another one of our member is gone to swell the number beyond the dark river of death. The funeral was preached by the writer to a large and sympathizing congregation after which she was laid away to wait the better resurrection. May the blessing of God rest upon the grief stricken friends.
