Of 4522 Constance street, on Friday, April 1, 1949, at 10:30 o'clock p.m., CLYDE MANTON JONES, aged 49 years, formerly of McComb, Miss., and a resident of New Orleans for the past 28 years, son of Ettie Lee and the late Clarence G. Jones, brother of Mrs. Claude Barlow and Vallie Jones of New Orleans, Clarence P. and Richard Lee Jones of McComb, Miss., and Arthur J. Jones of Baton Rouge, La.

Remains were taken to McComb, Miss. via I. C. railroad, leaving New Orleans on Sunday morning, April 3, 1949, at 8 o'clock. Funeral was held from the Catchings Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.

Interment in Hollywood cemetery.
