Clarence was born the second of five children to Sam C and Harriet (Hattie Wilkerson) Elliott at Cyclone TX. He married Cora Russell 8Nov1917 and, in Coleman Co TX, they raised their 11 children: Samuel(Bill), Delma, Willie Mae, Curtis, Jim, Otis, Ernestine, Howard, Ann, Ladelle and Rodney. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Samuel Onareus, William Ernest and Oscar Curtis, and son Rodney. He was survived by his wife Cora, sister Anna (Charles) Jones, and his 10 children.
