Born March 25, 1893, in Findlay, he was the son of John and Fannie (Blower) Garrett. He married Lottie Andrews in 1914 and she died in July of 1955. He then married Violet Norris on Aug. 1, 1957, and she survives.
Surviving with his wife are daughters, Mrs. Frank (Marilyn) Killien, westerville; Mrs. William (Ruth)Wighaman, Mentor; Mrs. Laura Miller, Bradenton, Fla.; Mrs. Loren J. (Frances) Pillips, Bowling Green; and Mrs. Jack (Mary) Hochstettler, Wharton; sons, Ralph Eugene Garrett, Toledo; Paul Garrett, Route 1, Alvada and Richard Garrett, Bradenton, Fla.; sisters, Mrs. Carl (Nellie) Treece, Findlay and Mrs. Henry (Emma) Hoehmann, Laramie, Wyo.; a brother, Robert of Windham; 21 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Coldren Funeral Home. Dr. Tennyson Guyer will officiate, with burial in Van Horn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
