Peter Kwiatkowski was the son of Jozef and Maryana (Sicinski) Kwiatkowski, born April 1, 1894, in Anderson, Grimes Co., TX. He married Mary Walkoviak on January 26, 1913, at the St. Stanislaus Church in Anderson, Grimes Co., TX. They had 11 children: Walter, Charles, Raymond, Christine, Joseph, Edward, John, Robert, Peter Jr., Clement, and Stanley Steve.

Peter moved to South Bend, St. Joseph Co., Indiana, while he was married and raising his family. He died there on August 30, 1954, and was buried at the St. Joseph Cemetery in South Bend, St. Joseph Co., Indiana.
