William Cecil Baggett, loving husband, father and grandfather, age 99 of Winchester passed away Saturday, October 9, 2010 at his residence. He was the owner and operator of Baggett Produce for over 50 years. Preceding him in death were his parents, John Baggett and Mattie White Baggett; daughter, Brenda Baggett Starnes; brother, Gene Baggett; stepbrothers, Junior and Clyde Smith; grandson, Troy Baggett. Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Mildred Baggett of Winchester; daughter, Kathy Baggett Burks of Melbourne, FL; sons, Billy (Roymae) Baggett of Sevierville, TN and Bobby (Cindy) Baggett of Estill Springs; 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 1 grt grt grandchild. Visitation is 5-8 PM Monday at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 1 PM Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at Mt. Garner Cemetery with Rev. Jonathan Clark officiating. Josh Carter, Stephen Baggett, Chris Burks, Scott Walker, Brian Baggett and Robert Baggett, Jr. will serve as pallbearers.
