A retired lead agent at Braniff died Sat. Dec.31 2005 at Grapevine Hospital.
He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church. He was a gifted athlete in high school & college and was known as "Automatic Al", and held numerous city records for consecutive field goals. During World War II he served in the 103rd Infantry Division and was awarded the Purple Heart with oak leaf clusters and the Bronze Star. After the war he went to work for Braniff where he worked for 41yrs and met his wife Gladys. They were married Oct. 8, 1955. Al was preceded in death by his parents Mathew and Suzzie (Susanna Prickler-Frey) and a brother Matthew Robert Frey.
