WILLIAM J PICKETT DEAD

Died Yesterday Morning at 10 O'clock of Paralysis

Suffering from a stroke of paralysis, which he suffered Wednesday at 1 o'clock, Mr William J Pickett, an old resident and well know man of this city, died at his home yesterday morning at 10 o'clock. Mr Pickett was fifty-six years old and is survived by a wife and eleven children.

The sons are Messrs. E L Pickett, H N Pickett, G N Pickett, S M Pickett and M W Pickett. There are four daughters, Mrs Dora Tillman and Misses Sula Pickett, Vera Pickett and Neta Pickett. Messrs. L G Pickett, H S Pickett, John W Pickett and R J Pickett are brothers and he also has the following sisters living, Mrs H R Markham, of Gorman, and Sallie Martin of this city.

The funeral services will be conducted from the house, 2000 Burch Avenue this afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev J T Riddick and Rev J J Hart. The interment will be made at the Rigsbee burying ground on the Rigsbee Road.
