Fond du Lac Commonwealth Reporter, Wed. May 14, 1941, p. 18:1. EDWARD FOY, 52, EXPIRES AFTER LONG SICKNESS. Lifelong Resident of Town of Forest Dies Today at Hospital. Edward P. Foy, 52, lifelong resident of the Town of Forest, died at 7:15 a.m. today at St Agnes hospital after 5 months' illness. He had previously been a patient at Wisconsin General hospital in Madison. Mr. Foy was born Dec. 1, 1888, and in 1912 was married to Miss Dorothy Bechler of Empire, who died in 1923. He later was united in marriage to Miss Florence Polzean of the Town of Osceola. Surviving Mr. Foy are his widow; 8 sons and daughters, Raymond of Town of Forest, Mrs. Dorothy O'Reilly of Cascade, Miss Alice of Milwaukee, Desmond and Mary Jean of Plymouth and Corliss, Carol and Edward of the Town of Forest; a brother, John, Town of Forest, and two sisters, Mrs. Frank Baker of Town of Forest, and Mrs. Chris Baker of Plymouth. The body is at the Hardgrove and Gordon funeral home, where funeral services will be held at 9:15 a.m. Saturday and at 10 a.m. from Our Lady of Angels church at Armstrong, the Rev. J.J. Michels, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.

Foy, Town of Osceola, who died Wednesday, were held at 9:15 a.m. today from the Hardgrove and Gordon funeral home and at 10 a.m. from Our Lady of Angels church at Armstrong, the Rev. J.J. Michels, pastor, officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Leo Baus, Henry J. Shea, Leo Bechler, James Scannell, Charles Mitchell and George Burns. Burial was in Calvary cemetery (sic). Persons attending the services included Francis O'Reilly and Mrs. L.P. O'Reilly of Milwaukee, Mrs. Francis Hand of Madison, Mrs. Margaret Casper of Maywood IL, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Shuler of Janesville, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ferguson and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Johnson and Mrs. Fred Ferguson of Sheboygan Falls, Mr. and Mrs. George Johnson of Rathburn and several from Mitchell, Greenbush, Campbellsport, Cascade, Plymouth, Graham and other nearby places.
