Billie Sue Austin, 73, of Mont Belvieu, passed away Friday, October 8, 2010 at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born October 9, 1936 in Mont Belvieu to her late parents, I. N. Kemp and Jenny Boone Kemp and was a lifelong resident of Mont Belvieu.
Mrs. Austin was an office Manager for her family's business, RJ Austin, CPA, a member of First Baptist Church in Mont Belvieu, and was devoted to her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Betty Jo Epperson and brothers, Potsy and Buddy Kemp.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Joe Austin of Mont Belvieu; sons, Rob Austin and his wife Lisa of Leaky, Texas and Michael Austin of Mont Belvieu; daughter, Kelli Austin of Las Vegas, Nevada; grandchildren Charlotte and Michael McDevitt, Holly and Rob Schmadl, Sean Smith and April, Lynzie Austin, Joseph Austin, Michael Austin, Jr. and Robert Austin, III; great-grandchildren, Elijah and Hayden Schmadl; nieces and nephew, Sherri Camp, Debbie Smith and Dusty Kemp; sister-in-law, Dorothy Ann Kemp, cousin Becky Linsenbardt and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 11, 2010 at First Baptist Church in Mont Belvieu with a service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Rev. Jake Porter and Doug Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Williams-Barber Family Cemetery.
