Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Kimes funeral home for Benjamin Russell Heck, 85, of 714 Bird St., who died in the University Hospital, Columbus, O., Wednesday.
He was born Sept. 26, 1879, in Wirt county, son of the late John and Mary Trippett Heck, and was a member of the Liberty St. Church of God. He was a retired mail carrier in the Clarksburg area.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Louise Humphrey, Columbus, O.; a son, Gerald K. Heck, Columbus, O.; and one step-son, T.S. Kelly, Clarksburg; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The Rev. E. Cartmill will officiate with burial in Arlington Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call at the funeral home after noon today.
