Elizabeth M. "Betty" Alcorn, 85, 2618 E. 2nd St., died early this morning at her residence.
Born March 2, 1898, in Veedersburg, she was the daughter of Walter and Minnie (Hesler) Cook. She was a member of the First Christian Church and a charter member of the Allendale Home Extension Club.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Corry A. Alcorn; one son, Quentin of Lagrange Park, Ill.; on daughter, Esther Butler of Palm Bay, Fla.; one brother, Perry Cook of Frankfort; one sister, Marie Dice of Warm Springs, Va.; and five grandchildren.
There will be no visitation or funeral services. Burial will be in Clear Creek Cemetery.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
