RITES WEDNESDAY FOR MRS. CARROLL
Funeral services for Mrs. Effie Ann Carroll, of near Eaglesport, will be conducted from the Virginia Ridge Methodist church Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock with Rev. Williams of Deavertown officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Carroll, the daughter of the late William and Mary Allbright died Monday morning at the home of her niece, Mrs. Sidney J. Hivnor near Eaglesport. She was 97 years, three months and six days of age. She had been in failing health for some time.
The deceased was born and spent most of her life in the Virginia Ridge community in Muskingum county. Since the death of her husband, John Carroll, 23 years ago, she had made her home with relatives, the past three and one-half years with the niece, Mrs. Hivnor.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Jane Gibson, Caldwell street, Zanesville and a brother, Charles Allbright, of Virginia Ridge. A sister, Mrs. Tressa Staher preceded her in death on Feb. 2, 1942

Effie Ann Allbright married John Carroll on 17 August 1887 in Muskingum County, Ohio.

I took pictures of every stone in Virginia Ridge, don't have one of Effie Carrell stone. Unless I overlooked it.
