Alex Farmer, 77, died at his home in the Hebron section of Carroll county Wednesday, January 30.
Among survivors is the widow, Mrs. Ella Amanda Farmer.
The deceased was a son of the late Barnett and Sarah Elizabeth Farmer.
Among survivors are an adopted son, Vance Farmer, Pulaski; a half-sister, Mrs. Sarah Mays, Woodlawn; and a half-brother, Bill Adkins, Roanoke.
Funeral services were held Sunday at 10 a. m. by Rev. Lonnie P. Shaw, with interment in the Hebron cemetery, under Vaughan-Guynn direction.
