Margaret Gideon was born in Kentucky, January 31, 1846, and departed this life March 23, 1920, aged 74 years, 1 month, and 22 days. Aunt Margaret, as she was called, came to Missouri with her parents as a small child, and in 1873, she was married to J.A. Gideon. To this union were born six children, two of whom preceded her to the spirit land. She leaves a husband, four children, and a host of friends to mourn her loss. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Halford and Windsor at Fairview, after which she was laid to rest in the Fairview cemetery. -- A friend.
