From Der Nord Westen, 26 Nov. 1908:

Death Wednesday last week at his residence in Grand Rapids, Wisconsin, of George
Alber(sic), traveling representative for the Plumb Nelson Co. here, and a former
resident of our city. The body was brought here for burial.

ALBEE FUNERAL Friday

Ptomaine Poisoning Cause of Death of Well Known Salesman

Funeral services for the late George Albee, whose body was brought here from
Grand Rapids, Wis., at noon today, will be held from the Rand home, N. 8th
street at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, Rev. Johnson officiating. Mr. Albee's
death was due to Ptomaine poisoning, and occurred in his home at Grand Rapids.
Mr. Albee had partaken of
partridge at Rib Lake and upon arrival home was seized with illness. He was
resting upon a couch when the fatal attack occurred and died before medical aid
could be summoned.

Mr. Albee had a wide acquaintance and many friends in the city to whom his death
is a shock.
