Mrs. Arthur Ahrens, 51, former Manitowoc resident, died Thursday morning at
Manitowoc County Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral
Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Paul H. Blaufuss will officiate and burial will be
in Evergreen Cemetery.
The former Mae Thielen was born at Manitowoc May 17, 1912, daughter of the
late Gustave and Anna Kretuz Thielen. She attended Manitowoc schools and in
1930 was married at Manitowoc to Arthur Ahrens.
Surviving are her husband, a son, (private), a daughter, (private), a brother,
Alvin Thielen, of Manitowoc and a sister, Mrs. Joseph Goralski, of Wausau.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Friday.
