Widow of the late Vallorus W. Willson, Died on friday Apr 14, 1916, at the home of her daughter, Estelle Isabella Foote in Sioux City, IA. She was born in Potsdam over 90 yrs ago and was the last of her family of sixteen children. She lived in Potsdam after the death of her husband in 1901 and has lived with her daughter in Iowa for many years. She was always in good health until her recent illness, always full of life, jovial and interested in current events.
Seven children were born to Mr. & Mrs. Willson, six of whom are deceased sons, Clarence, Laroy, George, Charles, William and Fred. She is survived only by her daughter, Estelle(Mrs. Lewis Alton Foote). She is laid to rest next to her husband and two sons.
She was awarded a License/certificate to teach in April 8, 1844 from the County Superintendant G.S. Winslow, St Lawrence County, N.Y. for common school.(of which I have in my possession)
