Fairview - Joshua Allen Alspach, 9, of Fairview, died on Thursday, October 7, 2010, at Memorial Campus, Mission Hospitals.

Joshua was born in Ft. Wayne, Ind., on October 16, 2000. He had been a student at the Estes Elementary School Pep Program for the last 4 years.

Joshua is survived by his grandmother, Patricia Alspach, and her daughters, Dawn and husband, Ricky, Kim and husband, Doyle, Patty and husband, Michael, and Shannon; sister, Jazmine of Fairview; brothers, Danny of Ft. Wayne, and Jaden of Fairview; great-uncle, Steve Johnson; and numerous cousins.

A celebration of Joshua's homecoming will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue, with Pastor Kenny Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow at Cane Creek Cemetery.

His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Joshua's family gives thanks to Skills Creations, Turning Point, and the Estes Elementary School Pep Program for their help and care.
