He was born April 30, 1930, in Davenport, to Samuel and Doris E. Larson Bakeris. He married Geraldine Czupka on June 18, 1955.
Surviving are his wife; daughter, Samantha, and her husband, John Hornung, Ashland, Mass.; three grandchildren; brother, Samuel, Wisconsin.
