Charles M. Banghart died in a Florida hospital at the age of 80. He had lived in Boca Raton, Florida for 18 months.

Son of the late Alfred and Elizabeth Crater Banghart. He had spent his early life in Glen Gardner, NJ.

A marine surveyor for Koehler and Koehler, New York City, he had lived in Newark and Bronxville, NY.

He was survived by his widow, Pauline; his son, nationally-known TV newscaster Kenneth Banghart of Coral Gables, Fla; and one sister, Mrs. E. O. Challanger, Hastings-on-Hudson, NY.

His obituary was published in the Hunterdon County Democrat on October 10, 1968.
