Leola B. Ogden was one of three children born to Lester and Ella Gibson, born at Eudell, Neb., on Aug. 5, 1892.
Sept. 2, 1912, she was married to Benjamin E. Ogden. They moved to Edgar in 1913 as he began his ministry in the Christian Church. Through the years she was his faithful companion and helper as he served many churches in Nebraska, and further as he was a professor at Yanktone College and dean at Cotner College.
Mrs. Ogden was a faithful member of the Christian Church and has held membership in the Southview Christian Church, Lincoln, for the past 42 years.
In September, 1975, Mr. and Mrs. Ogden moved to the Oakwood Manor in Edgar, where Mr. Ogden died within the month. Mrs. Ogden remained there until her death on March 21.
She has four children, David of Columbus, Clifford of Balboa Island, Calif., Robert of Lincoln and Mrs. Will Jensby (Janice) of Davenport; 15 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
