Patsy Fern Poindexter Ables, 71, formerly of Hoxie and Jonesboro, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010, at Memphis.

Survivors include her husband, Harold Ables of the home; daughters, Debbie Perkins (Calvin) of Fayetteville, Tenn., and Karen Timms of Garland, Texas; grandchildren, Patricia Timms, Rachel Perkins Rieger and Sarah Perkins; and her loving poodle for 11 years, FiFi.

Memorial services were held in House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge with the Rev. Randy Scott officiating. Burial was in Lawrence Memorial Park.
