Arlene C. Bacon Age 78, of Santa Clara, CA, passed away on October 14, 2009. A native of Otoe, NE. Arlene lived in Santa Clara most of her life. Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, David C. Bacon. Arlene is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Judy and Edward Emery of Gainesville, FL, four grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Arlene was retired from J. J. Newberry of San Jose. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 18, 2009 at the Sunnyvale Elk's Lodge, 375 N. Pastoria Ave., Sunnyvale, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 4850 Union Ave., San Jose, CA 95124 or the Elk's National Foundation.
