Silas Randolph Allen married Evangeline Alice "Eva" Drake on 12/28/1898 (Hamilton County Marriager Record Bk. 3, pg.80) in the Drake home in the Fairview Community.

Silas Allen was admitted to the bar in 1910. He served several terms as County Attorney. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
They had five sons:
Joe Bailey Allen, I
Clement V. Allen
Silas Randolph Allen, Jr.
Harold W. Allen, Sr.
George Henry, who died in infancy.

Eva Alice died in 1930.

On July 4, 1934, Judge Allen married Miss Geneva Sills.

Judge Allen was survived by his widow and three sons--C. V., S. R., and H. W. Allen.
