HUGO A. AHLMANN

Mr. Hugo A. Ahlmann, 92, a resident of Manitowoc, died Sunday afternoon,
September 15, at the Manitowoc Health Care Center.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Reformed United Church of
Christ, Manitowoc. Rev. Arthur H. Wille will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Ahlmann was born June 20, 1893, at Wausau, Wisconsin, son of the late
Frederick and Fredericka Maas Ahlmann. He married the former Molly Felde on
March 15, 1919, at Wausau, where the couple resided until 1971 when they moved
to Manitowoc. Mr. Ahlmann was employed by American Can Company of Wausau for
a period of 40 years, retiring in 1958.
Survivors include his wife, Molly of Manitowoc; a son and daughter-in-law,
Harold and Margaret Ahlmann of Vacaville, California; two daughters, Lillian
Ahlmann of San Francisco, California, and Alice Winter of Manitowoc; four
grandchildren, Judith Ann Joulios, Carrie Sue Ahlmann and Thomas and James
Ahlmann and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister
and three brothers.
Friends may call at First Reformed United Church of Christ, 11 a.m. Wednesday
until the time of services. Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is in charge of
arrangements.
