ADOLPH ADLER

Adolph Adler, 88, retired coal dock foreman and railroad employe, died at
the home of his daughter, Mrs. Margaret Young of 2008 Wollmer street, today
following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm. Friday at the Pfeffer funeral home,
the Rev. Paul Blaufuss officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
He was born in Frankfort, Germany, in 1860 and at the age of 25 years came to
Manitowoc. Sixty three years ago he married Miss Augusta Kubisch of this city.
She died seven years ago.
Mr. Adler was a foreman at the docks of the Reiss Coal company and employed
by the Land and Fuel company and was also with the North Western Road. He was
a member of the Royal League.
Survivors are two sons, George of this city and Arthur of Milwaukee; two
daughters, Mrs. Margaret Young and Mrs. Philip Ha__of the city; nine grand-
children and four great grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday.
